We have weekday space available in our church facility and venue in Annandale, Virginia for Community Service Organizations, Small Businesses, Non-profits or Groups that fill diverse types of human needs and services. Our Facility at the Church in Annandale, Virginia is The United Baptist Church Mission Center! Biblically, each church is a Mission Center—a facility in which the church (i.e., each congregant) gathers to remember, celebrate, renew, and convey the Biblical truth that each person is the church, both within and beyond the walls of the building (as Jesus lived). We intentionally foster a sense of cooperative community-building through love, service, respect, and compassion here on our “campus.” Are you a good neighbor or a volunteer in local service groups that are looking for a space to meet? Are you an entrepreneur with a small established business or a start-up that needs an affordable and safe office? Have you recently downsized and need new office space with a conference room? We have short-term, temporary and longer-term spaces available for under market rates. Earlier congregants understood church as a facility and people who met on Sundays and perhaps a weeknight. We recognize that the world needs "church" to be more than that today! Using our building so minimally would be a waste of our faith and heritage. Since 2014, we intentionally share our legacy of faith and resources by connecting with like-minded yet diverse groups and organizations with a heart for serving others. We may discover God through people we encounter daily, so we invite you to imagine a "community center" filled with opportunities for all ages in Annandale, Virginia. What creative endeavors, need-meeting, and community renewal might these encounters inspire? Weekend usage is at a premium and the calendar fills up in advance, so contact us soon.
